Description
This is a terrace of five houses and shops, now used for commercial purposes, built in the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick and have a Welsh slate roof. They are arranged over two storeys and have a five-window facade, stepped to follow the sloping site. Each building is based on a double-pile plan, with a single unit. Each has a moulded wooden architrave over the doorway on the left-hand side, including an angled corner on the top unit. There are two shop fronts, which have been renewed, and two sash windows with glazing bars, each with a flat-arched brick head. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes within flat-arched painted stone heads. The corner building has a three-window return on the left-hand side, and a renewed fascia and shop front. End walls and axial stacks are present.
