Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the north side of High Street. It is constructed of painted brick and stands three storeys high. The front elevation originally featured two sash windows and one sash window, but one of these has been replaced with a modern casement. All windows have glazing bars and plain lintels. The second floor originally had two sash windows with single glazing bars, plus one blocked window. The building has plain eaves and a hipped slate roof. A plain doorway is located on the left-hand side, and the front has three altered late 19th-century shop fronts. The building is included in the listing primarily for its contribution to the wider group value of the street.
