Description

Foxbank is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dated 1691 on a datestone with relief characters. It was restored in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and has two storeys.

The entrance front features a gable end to the right, which includes a first-floor 17th-century window with four chamfered, mullioned lights that served as the basis for the replacement 20th-century windows. There is a similar window on the ground floor to the right, along with two and three-light bays to the left that have hood moulds over the ground floor windows. A projecting wing on the left side has a three-light chamfered mullioned window on both the ground and first floors. To the right of this projection, there is a porch with a four-centered arch and a rectangular datestone above it.

Inside, the ground floor ceiling beams are adorned with ovolo mouldings on either side and a central fillet moulding.
