Description

71 and 73 Welsh Row comprise a 17th-century house that has undergone recent restoration. The house is timber framed with plaster and cement infilling, and has been painted black and white. It is two storeys high and features two modern wood mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights. A plain doorway is present, and the building has tiled roofing. A one-windowed bay on the left-hand side, likely dating from the early 19th century, is finished with painted sham timber framing and a simple wood pilaster doorcase. It also includes a rectangular fanlight and cornice, as well as a hood.
