Description
Cheers Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1720. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys with an attic. The entrance front has two bays, with a door located to the right of centre that is a four-panel door. Above the door is a rectangular plastered panel. To the left of the door is a sash window with four panes by four panes, and to the right is a casement window with two lights. There is a brick band that runs between the ground and first floors and the attic. On the first floor, there are two casement windows, each with two lights. Above the first floor band is a rectangular datestone, which is now painted over. To the left, there is a 19th-century lean-to outshut. All windows feature gauged heads, and the gable ends have stone copings.
Inside, the farmhouse has four rooms on each floor. There is a four-flight staircase located to the right of centre at the rear, featuring panelled rectangular newels and turned balusters with a moulded handrail.
