Description
The building consists of a barn and a cottage located 40 meters east of Willot Hall, dating from the early to late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick, partially set on a rubble plinth, and features a Kerridge stone-slate roof with a stone ridge and a brick chimney. The structure has an L-shaped plan. The east range includes a partially blocked cart entrance with a segmentally arched brick head and ventilation slots. The south end displays a stone-coped gable with ball finials, while the north end contains a small cottage with inserted 20th-century casements and doors. Inside, there are Queen post roof trusses with wind-braced purlins. The north range features a driftway, additional ventilation slots, and some inserted windows and doors. The building is listed for its group value only.
