Description
Bullshead Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 17th century with mid-18th century rebuilding in brick and 20th century alterations and additions. The building features a combination of timber framing and Flemish bond red brick, both set on a sandstone plinth. It has a Kerridge stone-slate roof with a stone ridge, one lateral rubble stack, and one ridge brick chimney. The farmhouse has a T-shaped plan and is two stories high with a three-bay front. The left end bay includes a door beneath a rough stone lintel, along with a two-light casement window with applied lead glazing above. The central bay has a similar three-light window with a cambered brick head, while the right end bay features a gabled cross-wing with similar three-light casements. There is also a 20th century porch and extension added to the right.
