Description
This farm building, located 30 meters north of Crook Hall, dates from the late 17th century and is primarily used for storage. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of seven truss bays. It has replaced boarded doors and hopper light windows, along with square oak framed pitch holes. The west gable displays exposed timbers. Inside, there are two collar trusses, three strutted trusses, and one queen post truss, along with original purlins, a ridgetree, and rafters. The building is included for its group value.
