Description
Malt Kiln Farm is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century. It has a timber frame structure with 19th and 20th century brick infill, which was originally wattle and daub. The roof is covered with asbestos sheeting. The building consists of three cells and has three storeys.
On the front facing the road, there are 11 cells of uneven small framing with an angle brace in the upper left corner. The doorway is located at the far right. The ground floor features two 3-light casement windows, while the first floor has a 3-light casement window on the right and two 2-light casement windows on the left.
At the rear, there are 10 cells of small framing with an angle brace in the upper right corner. There is a doorway to the right of the centre, with a 2-light casement window to its left. The first floor has a one-light casement window on the left and a similar window to the left.
