Description

Folly Tower on the island in Tabley Mere is a tower built around 1780. It is constructed of red brick and has a circular shape with three storeys. The ground floor features a moulded doorcase with an arched entrance. On the first floor, there are four windows, each with two arched lights. The second floor has eight oculi, and above this, there are machicolations that support a battlemented turret.
