Description
Parkside Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century house situated on Sudlow Lane in Tabley Inferior. It is constructed with a timber frame and whitewashed brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. The house has a two-storey baffle-entry plan.
The front of the house features a stone plinth and nine by two cells of small timber framing with angle braces. A door is located on the far left, originally positioned to the left of the centre but now blocked. There are two two-light windows on the ground floor. A central ridge stack houses two flues. The right-hand gable end exhibits four by two cells of small timber framing with angle braces, and a queen-post truss is visible.
