Description

Dysart Buildings is a terrace of five late 18th-century houses. The buildings are constructed of red brick and extend to three storeys. They feature five projecting bays at each end, each with quadrant corners. The facade is characterised by 27 regularly spaced sash windows with stone sills, and nine moulded wooden pilaster doorcases, each with panelled reveals, radial fanlights, open pediments, and six-panelled doors. The buildings have plain eaves and hipped slate roofs. Some restoration work has been carried out, along with an alteration at the west end incorporating an additional projecting bay. Nos 1 to 9 form a notable group.
