Description
Nos. 10, 12, and 14 Chestergate is a row of three shops with living accommodation above, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof. It stands three storeys high and has a six-window range. The ground floor has modern shop fronts added in the 20th century, while the upper windows consist of 4-pane, 12-pane, and 2-pane sash windows, all with flat-arched heads and stone sills. The corners of the building are highlighted by painted stone quoins, and there is a wooden modillion eaves cornice along the top.
