Description

Byronswood Cottage is an early 19th century house located on the west side of Byrons Lane in Macclesfield. It is constructed with a render over brick facade and has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front, with a central entrance. The front door is a six-panelled door, topped with a radial fanlight and set within a moulded, pedimented architrave. The windows are sixteen-pane sash windows with segmentally arched heads. A wood dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and there are gable end stacks. A parallel rear wing extends from the main body of the house, featuring a hipped roof.
