Description

The stable block at the rear of Number 87 Welsh Row dates from the late 18th century and has been altered over time. It was originally the stables and coach house for Number 83. The building is constructed of red brick and stands two storeys tall. It features two modern casement windows and a circular opening. There is a four-centred brick archway with modern garage doorways on either side. The eaves are dentilled brick, and the roof is covered with slates. This stable block is part of a group that includes Numbers 83, 85, 89, the stables at the rear of Number 89, 91, 97 to 101 (odd), the Methodist Chapel, and Numbers 103 to 109 (odd).
