Description

37 Buxton Old Road is a former pair of cottages, now a house, likely dating from the 17th century with 19th-century alterations. The building is constructed from rendered sandstone rubble and features a roof that is partly covered with Kerridge stone-slate and partly with composition tiles, along with two brick chimneys. The structure is arranged as two units at a slight angle and has a two-storey, three-bay front. The end bays contain three-light, centre-opening wooden casements, while the central bay features a board door within a plain surround. This building is listed for its group value only.
