Description
Prestbury Road Terrace is a row of eight houses built in 1845. The brick construction is topped by a Welsh slate roof. The terrace follows a near-symmetrical plan and incorporates a prominent central bay topped by a pediment. Each house has a single-room, double-pile layout. The original doorways have been largely renewed, but retain their moulded architraves with console brackets and pronounced entablature. Most of the windows are replacements, though some original twelve-pane sash windows remain in the central section—one inserted enlarged window is present towards the left. The central section features a doorway and a wide tripartite sash window beneath the pediment. The pedimented entablature displays the date "1845" and the name "Prestbury Road Terrace". A continuous sill band runs along the first-floor windows. The building has a plinth, moulded wood eaves, and end wall and axial stacks.
