Description
The Villa, originally built as a house around 1840, now serves as the office of the Clerk to the Justices. The building is rendered with incised lines and features stone dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys and five sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals, while the ground floor windows are adorned with cast-iron balconies. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door framed by a flat Tuscan doorcase, with giant pilasters at the corners and wide eaves supported by wooden brackets. The hipped roof is complemented by two corniced brick chimneys. Inside, there is a dado in the halls and stair, architraves around most doors, and internal shutters.
