Description
This building, located in the north-east corner of the garden of The White House in Westoe Village, is likely a gazebo or summer house dating from the late 18th century. It may have been built around the same time as The White House itself. The structure is made of brick, with the north elevation facing Horsley Hill Road being rendered. It features a pantile roof and is two storeys tall with one bay and one compartment on each floor. The elevation facing Horsley Hill Road includes a two-storey bay; the ground floor section is blocked, while the upper floor has sash windows with glazing bars. This elevation is topped with a "Dutch" gable.
