Description
The structure consists of a wall and gate piers attached to Cleadon House, dating from the 18th century. From the front right of the house, there is a high brick wall featuring three banded square piers and a garden entrance. This wall connects to a high garden wall that runs the width of the garden, made of roughly squared coursed limestone rubble topped with a triple moulded brick coping. The entrance from the street is created by a low brick wall with stone coping, which continues through three square brick piers with plinths. Within these piers are two ashlar gate piers that have overhanging cornices. The original iron gates and railings have been removed.
