Description

The Gunn tomb, located about 10 meters east of the south transept of the Church of St Andrew, is a table tomb dating from the late 18th century. It commemorates members of the Gunn and Raisbeck families from 1779 to 1846. The tomb is constructed of sandstone ashlar and is designed in the Gothic style. It features a moulded-edged slab resting on solid serpentine ends, with a central recessed supporting slab. The end panels are adorned with Gothic shafts and blind tracery.
