Description

The barracks wall attached to Fenham Barracks East Lodge is an early 19th-century structure that has two distinct periods of construction. It is primarily made of coursed squared sandstone, with some lower courses built from rubble. The east side of the wall has been breached and repaired with brick. The wall features a flat stone coping on the side facing Barrack Road, while the remaining sections have a sloped stone coping.
