Description
The Town Moor boundary stone, located about one metre north of Millmount, is a boundary marker from the late 18th century. Made of sandstone, it features a round top and stands approximately one metre high. The north face of the stone displays the arms of Newcastle in low relief. This boundary was established following a dispute in 1770 between the Freemen and the Corporation of Newcastle.
