Description

The piers, walls, and railings south of the former Ouseburn Schools were built in 1893 by F.W. Rich. They are constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and feature cast iron railings. The structure includes two tall gate piers that have ashlar plinths, bands, and coping, topped with ball finials. There is a high stepped brick wall with roll-moulded brick coping. To the right, a dwarf wall has square-section, spike-headed railings that match the standards of the gates.
