Description
The orangery, located east of Woolsington Hall, dates back to 1797, as noted on the rainwater head. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a graduated Lakeland slate roof. The building has one high storey with three bays in the center and two lower bays on either side. It is adorned with round-headed full-height windows that include glazing bars, along with impost strings in the center and impost bands on the outer bays. The structure has an eaves cornice and a blocking course topped with urn finials. It also features hipped roofs and a chimney at the rear.
