Description
Bullock Steads Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick, featuring four and one courses, with ashlar dressings. The roof is made of Welsh slate and includes bargeboards and two ashlar-banded yellow brick end chimneys. The rear has snecked sandstone additions. The building is L-shaped, two storeys high, and has three windows. The central door has been renewed and is set in a raised stone surround, with wedge stone lintels and renewed projecting stone sills beneath wide sash windows that have glazing bars. At the rear, there is an outshut that has been raised and extended in snecked sandstone. Additionally, there is a two-storey, one-bay right rear wing that features horizontal sliding sash windows.
