Description

There are two gas lamps located at the entrance to South Drive in Woolsington. These lamps are made of cast iron and date from the early 19th century. They feature fluted standards with a top ladder rail, and the square lamps have a domed canopy and a ventilator. The lamp on the west side is marked with the low relief inscription "SMITH PATTERSON & CO. LTD. BLAYDON."
