Description

The gate piers, gates, and overthrow located to the east of the Church of St. Alban were designed by Thomas Liddell and constructed between 1841 and 1842. The structure features tall square piers made of coursed sandstone, topped with gabled, roll-moulded designs. The wrought iron gates are supported by spear-head standards, and there is an overthrow that includes a lampholder, also crafted from wrought iron.
