Description
The dovecot at Axwell Park House Farm dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a roof made of Welsh slate. The structure is a circular, straight-sided tower with an irregular stone lintel and a curved stone sill at the doorway. Above the entrance, there is a small square window that also has a stone lintel. Inside, the dovecot has a stone flagged floor, pigeon holes around the walls, and a boarded floor positioned halfway up the interior.
