Description
Sober Hall Farmhouse is an early 18th century farmhouse that may include a hind's cottage. It is constructed of narrow red brick, partly rendered, with a pantiled roof featuring stone gable copings and kneelers. The building has two storeys and four slightly irregular windows. The first floor has Yorkshire sash windows, while the ground floor features Victorian sash windows set in wood architraves and one canted bay window. Sober Hall, along with its mill, granary, and other outbuildings, is of unusual interest as a rare example of a farm complex with its own corn mill. The farmhouse is currently derelict, with missing roof tiles, cracked brickwork, and decaying woodwork.
