Description

Low Barwick Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Barwick Lane in Ingleby Barwick. The building features walls made of small red bricks, with some areas rendered and incised. It has a high-pitched roof covered with swept pantiles and end chimneys. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has three irregularly placed windows. The windows are Yorkshire sash style, with the central first-floor window shifted to the left, and a small new staircase light has been added. The windows have stone cills and one has a gauged brick arch above it.
