Description

Ivy Holme Sundial Cottage is an early 18th century house that has been converted into two dwellings. It is a one-storey building with an attic and features three windows. The structure is partially rendered red brick and has roofs made of Welsh slate and modern tiles. Sundial Cottage includes 19th century casement windows and a gabled half dormer, while Ivy Holme has modern windows. The house has ridge chimneys and a plastered wall sundial on the south front, which is dated 1621 and inscribed with "Lex Dei Lux Dei."
