Description

The Church of St Paul was built between 1857 and 1858 by the architects Mallinson and Healey, with a tower added in 1898 by T and F Healey. The church is constructed from slightly rusticated coursed stone and features steep Welsh slate roofs. It has an aisled nave, a south porch, a chancel, and a north tower. The architectural style is Decorated, characterized by diagonal buttresses at the corners and smaller masonry with corner turrets on the tower.
