Description
1 Bridgewater, also known as Leven Bank, is a building that dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and has been altered over time. The walls are now covered in stucco, and the roof is made of large Welsh slates, which has been raised but remains high pitched. The building has two storeys and features two windows, along with a one-bay set back left extension that has an early 19th-century appearance. The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars, including an 8-pane sash on the right, all framed in wood architraves. The first floor has modern top-hung 12-pane casements. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped by a low oblong fanlight.
