Description

The Methodist Chapel, dated 1829, features an inscription reading "WESLEYAN CHAPEL" on a plaque that has been relocated above the door of a small pentice added to the south side. This small, one-storey building has two irregular bays on its south front and is constructed of red brick. It has a gable-ended slate roof. The chapel showcases deep gauged brick arches over fixed lights, which have glazing bars and radial heads set in wooden architraves on the returns. Additionally, there are similarly glazed sash windows beneath single arches on the gable end.
