Description
The Manor is a mid-18th century building located on the east side of Norton High Street. It is two storeys tall and features six windows. The structure is made of brick, with brick flat arches and stone keys. The roof is double pitched, with raised verges and brick chimneys. The windows are flush framed plate glass sash windows.
On the ground floor, there are two later wooden square bays, each with four lights and modillion cornices, positioned on either side of an off-centre doorway that is slightly to the left. The doorway has a pilastered doorpiece with a flush spoked fanlight, a modillion cornice, and a pediment above. The door itself is a six-panel design with reveals.
At the rear of the building is No 50A, which is part of the same structure and has four windows, including one large tripartite window and another that is round-headed, both of which are glazing bar sashes.
