Description
62 and 64 High Street are early 18th century buildings that have been altered with resashed and small shop windows and doors added in the mid 19th century. The buildings are two storeys high and feature two windows for No 62 and one window for No 64. They are constructed of yellow washed brick with brick eaves courses and have a pantile roof with two brick chimneys. The stone cills are a notable feature. The shop front for No 62, which is occupied by Elcoste, is small and includes a fascia and cornice that connects to the door. No 64 has a pilastered doorcase and a small mid 19th century window that has been inserted. Both buildings have sash windows with flush moulded frames.
