Description

This is a pair of buildings dating to the mid-19th century, prominently situated on the east side of High Street in Norton. They present as two storeys, each with a single window. The buildings are constructed of brick, with brick flat arches visible on number 72. The windows are sash windows with plate glass, except for the first-floor window of number 70, which retains glazing bars. Number 70 features a three-light bay window, while number 72 has a four-light square bay window. The entrances are distinguished by wooden pilaster doorpieces. The roof is covered in pantiles with coped verges, and is punctuated by three brick chimneys.
