Description

Nos 139 and 141 on High Street in Yarm are a pair of 18th-century buildings that have undergone significant alterations. They are constructed of brick and feature a dentilled eaves cornice, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The buildings stand two storeys high and have three wide bays. On either side of a very wide central carriageway, there are two-storey late Victorian canted bays. The listing is primarily for group value considerations. The rear wing of No 139 retains some original windows.
