Description
Nos 24 and 26 on High Street is an early 19th-century house that stands two storeys tall with an attic. The building features five windows, which are near flush framed and have plain sashes. On the left side, there are two slope top dormers. No 24 has a blind painted window on the second floor, situated above a first-floor window that has been altered. The structure is made of brick with some header courses, and it has stone lintels and keys. The roof is slate, with raised verges and stone kneelers on the left, while No 24 has brick kneelers. There is a square bay window on the ground floor of No 24, and No 26 has a mid to late 19th-century shop front, featuring a pair of wood pilaster doorpieces.
