Description

The Diamond Jubilee Cross, located on a green plot opposite Nos 2 and 4 Norton High Street, was built in 1897. This cross is made of red sandstone and is designed in the Anglian style. Each face of the cross features panels of interlace, and the cross itself is inscribed within a circle. It stands on a solid base that includes a commemoration tablet.
