Description
This is a late 18th-century row of three cottages located on Church Road in Eglescliffe. They were likely built as a single entity, possibly originally as a farmhouse with a hind's cottage. The row comprises two windows for number 8, and three windows for numbers 10 and 12. The cottages are constructed of light red brick with a modern clay tiled roof. They have flat-gaugued brick arches above the windows, and modern sash windows with glazing bars. Number 8 also has modern casement windows, and a modern door. Numbers 10 and 12 share a modern door with an oblong fanlight. A window above the door on number 8 has been blocked.
