Description
This is a marker stone located approximately 190 meters northeast of Carling Howe Farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is made of dressed sandstone. The stone has a semi-circular head and measures about 30 centimeters high, 35 centimeters wide, and 17 centimeters deep. The west face is inscribed with the words "Tithe Free No.l" (?). It is positioned on the northwest side of the hedge at the entrance to the Carling Howe Farm track.
