Description
The stable range adjoining the south side of Old Hall Farmhouse dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a clay pantile roof with a stone ridge and gable copings, along with two stacks that have been rebuilt in brick. The building is single storey. The left section is now used as an outhouse and has two altered windows and a boarded door. The right-hand section contains five stable doors and a boarded window. A cartshed added around 1900 at the right end is not considered of special interest. This stable range is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
