Description

Fell Briggs Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Grewgrass Lane, New Marske. The building is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, and has a roof of concrete tiles. The exterior is arranged with a symmetrical 3-window facade. A central 5-panel door is set within a Tuscan doorcase featuring square pilasters and a prominent cornice. There are 16-pane sashes to the windows, each with projecting stone sills and flat stone lintels. The hipped roof is punctuated by rendered chimneys at the ridge ends. The interior of the farmhouse has not been inspected.
