Description
This is an 18th-century terrace wall located approximately 50 yards south of Halton Castle. The wall is constructed of random rubble and has an L-shape measuring about 20 by 20 yards. On the east side, there are steps leading down, which end in five steps that are flanked by similar walls. The coping of the wall is slightly rounded and is topped with eight urns that feature swags and clusters of fruit. This structure is included in the listing due to its group value with the nearby castle.
