Description

Lane House is an estate cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of dressed stone with ashlar detailing, and has a fish-scale tile roof. The building is designed in the Tudor style. It is a single-storey, two-bay structure with raised alternating quoins. It features three-light mullioned windows, each set beneath a hoodmould, with small leaded panes incorporating diamond-shaped panes at the intersections. The gabled roof has ridged coping, kneelers, obelisk finials, and corniced ridge stacks.
