Description

House on the north side of Stamfordham, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and five irregular bays. The entrance is almost central, with a panelled door and an overlight above it. To the left of the door are narrow 8-pane sash windows, while to the right are 12-pane sash windows. A sundial is located to the left of the fourth bay. The roof is steeply pitched with reverse-stepped gables, and there are renewed brick stacks at the ends.
