Description
The garden walls at Buteland Farm date to the 18th century. They are constructed of random rubble with brick facing in an English garden wall bond. The side walls stand approximately 10 feet high and have flat coping. The lower south wall is ramped at its east end and has ridged coping. Doorways are built into the side walls, each featuring a brick segmental arch. Each wall also incorporates four segmental-arched bee boles.
