Description

This is a bridge built in the mid-19th century, located 70 metres north of the entrance to Bywell Castle. It is constructed from tooled ashlar stone and features a segmental arch. Below the parapet, there is a band, and the parapet itself has a stepped base with low arched coping. The ends of the parapet are supported by piers topped with low pyramidal caps.
